I am passionate about helping clients discover and live their most fulfilling lives. Taking a holistic approach that honors the mind, body, and spirit, I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and the many challenges and stressors that life presents.

With nearly 20 years of experience working on a college campus, I bring a deep background in supporting survivors of sexual assault and relationship violence, as well as advocating for marginalized communities. My clinical interests include eating disorders, dissociative disorders, and trauma. I am also certified in yoga therapy, which allows me to incorporate body-based practices when appropriate.

I invite you to reach out and explore whether therapy may be a good fit for you at this time. Counseling is rooted in relationship, and I would welcome the chance to share more about myself and my approach to help you make an informed decision about your next steps.

As an individual and a clinical mental health counselor, I believe that the most important thing I can do as a counselor is to empower people to reach for the stars and work toward their self-identified goals. I work within a Wellness Model believing that individuals who are empowered will reach their optimal wellness. As I say, I have sat in the chair and done the hard work, so let me help you along your journey.

I have previously worked as an educator, and have made the move toward counseling to be able to provide holistic care to my clients. I operate from a Systemic Approach to counseling, because there are so many factors that influence people in their journey. I work with individuals facing challenges included but not limited to: anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, legacy sharing, life transitions, caregiving concerns, and issues unique to the LGBTQIA+ community.

I am a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor, Nationally Certified Counselor with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Scranton, and I am a member of professional organizations including the American Counseling Association and The Pennsylvania Counseling Association.

As an emerging adult "alumni", I have experience in multiple life transitions and how that can impact one's mental health. These experiences motivated me to help others who are going through their own life transitions and all that is involved in these experiences. While my population of interest is emerging adults (ages 18-26+), I welcome clients of all ages, genders, sexualities, etc. This factor is an important part of my work, allowing me to be supportive, understanding, actively listening, and compassionate when I meet with clients.

I use a person-centered approach that allows clients to lead the therapeutic path while also building a trusting relationship that supports direct communication about progress & growth. I also offer parts work, exploring patterns of protection and how parts of ourselves react to change. My specialties include life adjustments, anxiety, & depression.

If you are looking on this site for a potential therapist, first off, way to make the first step! Therapy involves layers of vulnerability and trust, which is important for therapists to acknowledge. If you are interested in therapy and/or would like to discuss this first, I encourage you to reach out- I am happy to set up a time to call with you!

Ed.M., DS • Counseling

Childhood is a magical, critical, and vulnerable time for a child and their parents/caregivers alike. As a master’s level Child Development Specialist, my role is to empower the entire family, providing you with the education and tools to cultivate an environment in which you can help your child scaffold their milestones, and reach their full potential. I offer observational assessments, tailored milestone/goal plans, early intervention and referrals, specialized one-on-one sessions with children, group or individual family coaching, resource navigation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to support and advocate for children across physical, cognitive, social, and emotional milestones. I believe that every single child and
family are intrinsically deserving of the care and fervent activism needed to make the most out of their developmental journey and foundations of life.

Amongst my counseling and human services, psychology, and applied human development/positive youth development studies, I have acquired 10+ years of experience serving families of different gender identities, religions, cultures, socioeconomic backgrounds, and diagnoses across various settings to be of use to you multidimensionally. I hold an additional certification as an anti-partum, postpartum doula and lactation educator, that knowledge provides me with yet another informed pathway to assist you through. Therefore, I can work across the entire lifespan within my scope. In conjunction, what I feel makes me even more useful to families, is that I am a mother of two, and have navigated the service system with my oldest. I have a personal, firsthand lens through which I view and tailor my professional skillset. It has been transformative to intimately understand what it is truly like to be on the receiving end of services. I see my own children in all children, and channel the same unconditional passion to walk with families traversing typical everyday life, diagnosis, grief, crisis, trauma, illness, and uncertainty.

You, your feelings, your child's development, rights, education, resources, coping skills and quality of life are all extremely important to me. I am a voice for you and your child. I will meet you wherever you may be at, and will navigate it all together, ensuring that you get the support and care you deserve. You are the expert on your child, and I look forward to learning from you, so that I can provide the most informed care possible. It really does take a village, and it is a privilege to be a part of yours, showing you that you are not alone in the ambiguity. I look forward to sharing myself and my skills with you, and for you to share your stories with me. I am in your corner, I am eager, honored, and prepared to mold to be whatever you need during our journey together.
